I hang out with a lot of photographers, many of whom I would categorize as big game hunters, who go out into the world with a very humble gear and bring back an elephant of a photograph they captured in the wild.  I admire this sort of photograph and photographer, the velocity to which their neurons fire directly translated into shutter speeds my camera could only dream of.  Despite the size of the equiptment I use, I am not after elephants, I am not a big game hunter, I am more the sort of photographer who goes to Whole Foods, buys some nice vegetables and comes back to make a nice salad.  Certainly I belong in a category of photographers far less glamorous, nothing grand about what I do, but I always come back with something to sustain myself.
